Jason Hammer

Controller

Jason Hammer is the Controller of Stamm Development Group.

Prior to joining Stamm Development Group in 2022, Jason spent the last 10 years in the Real Estate Development and Operation fields.  Most recently, he served as the Controller for Shift Capital, a social impact developer located in Philadelphia working to revitalize underserved communities both withing the city limits and across the country.  Prior to Shift Capital Jason worked as a Regional Property Controller for Gramercy Property Trust, now known as Link Industrial Properties, a publicly traded REIT at the time.  In this role he oversaw their Northeast and Global Portfolio of properties with over 3 billion dollars in assets.

In his role with Stamm Development Group, Jason supervises the accounting department, including corporate and property accounting functions for both Philadelphia and Florida based operations.  In addition to supervising the accounting department Jason works to support senior leadership by analyzing current market conditions and property performance to create recommendations to ownership for potential refinance, recapitalization, and sale opportunities of the stabilized portfolio.  He works closely with the Development Team to create analytics to evaluate prospective building opportunities, refine proformas, support the construction team in budget to actual evaluation of ongoing projects, project fee revenue and sale proceeds.  He also supports in the creation of investor relations deliverable packages that analyze the current position of investments along with projections for timing of return of capital, additional proceeds, and IRR based on the lifecycle of the individual development and stabilized properties.

 

Jason is a 2006 graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Business Management and Accounting.  After graduation Jason joined the U.S. Army where he served on active duty for 6 years.  He was stationed at Fort Bragg North Carolina where he served as part of the 82nd Airborne and 95th Civil Affairs Brigade.  He has served on multiple deployments across the globe to include Afghanistan, Kuwait, Turkey and humanitarian missions to Haiti.
