Stephen Lutz

Project Manager

Stephen Lutz is a Project Manager that joined Stamm Development Group in 2021.

He graduated from Lehigh University in 2016 with degrees in both Civil Engineering and Architecture.

Stephen has over 6+ years of experience in construction. Previously, he worked for 3+ years as a Project Manager for Target Building Construction Inc. in Philadelphia. Stephen’s Project Management experience focused on construction in the medical and institutional fields, with a focus at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. During his time working at CHOP, he managed an array of projects ranging in size and scope. His roles as a Project Manager included managing project schedules, budgets, and collaboration with subcontractors and design teams through the entire construction process to finish projects in a timely manner. Stephen had an active role in negotiating subcontractor buyout and generating overall construction budgets.

With his background in Engineering and Architecture, and his previous construction experience, Stephen has become skilled at resolving both on-site construction and design issues and excels at determining quick and cost-effective resolutions to keep projects on schedule and under budget.

Stephen is heavily involved and focused on Stamm Development Group’s construction projects as an owner’s representative Project Manager. As well, Stephen is an integral part of the team in managing construction budgets and schedules while working alongside our general contractors and design teams. He manages roughly half of the active Stamm Development Group construction projects, ranging from rental apartment buildings to for-sale homes and condos in both the Philadelphia and South Florida markets. Currently Stephen and the rest of the SDG Project Management team are overseeing over 300+ units actively under construction.

Stephen is also involved in our team’s preconstruction operations and value engineering in future sites. Within the preconstruction operations, Stephen transitions into project awarding and management as the projects break ground and construction begins. This basis of knowledge gained in pre-construction and negotiating budgets with general contractors allows for a smoother and more efficient project, allowing the company to successfully manage and finish construction projects.
